In the 1st March 1926 issue of "L'Art_et_les_artistes" there is an article devoted to the sculptor Leon Drivier (1878-1951) and it reveals that Juliette was one of his models. The article can be found here.
This half-length bust of Juliette was exhibited by Leon Drivier in 1925 at the Salon des Tuileries,
Leon Drivier was born in 1878 in Grenoble, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and in 1900 became an assistant to Rodin.
In 1923 he was one of the founders of the Salon des Indépendants.
In the 1930s he was commissioned by the State for the sculpture "La France en Pallas Athena apportant Paix et Prospérité aux Colonies" which was originally installed at the entrance to the Musée des Colonies but can now be found at the Porte dorée, Paris.
