This individual could be Thomas Horspool born at Oakham in 1803, the son of John Horspool and Margaret Morrisson. The following appeared in the Stamford Mercury on Friday 11th November 1825.
... and on Monday (7th November), Thomas Horspool, of Oakham, was committed, (by G. Fludyer, Esq. and the Rev.T. K. Bonney,) having been convicted of poaching in the parish of Exton, and fined in the penalty of £1, for non-payment of which sum he is liable to be imprisoned for three months.
